Juls, is it still nice in Manila zoo? Gusto ko sana pumunta jan when we get to visit Pinas para makita ng anak ko.... sad to say wala kaming zoo dito hehehe bakya no? Sala Manila zoo has sentimental value for me kasi nung bata pa kami nagpupunta kami jan ng parents ko :-D
@ SPanish Pinay; ok pa nman ang Manila Zoo, except for the tenants, i mean the animals there. some say masyado na daw stressed and not well taken care of ang mga animals don, and from our recent visit there eh at some point may katotohanan, but not all. naging issue nga yan recently, some activist and organizations eh gusto ipasara na ang mla zoo. but mla zoo admin won't allow it to happen. they admit na may shortcomings din sila because of short budget na rin, but they denied na pinababayaan nila ang mga tenants nila. know what they said? "WE NEED HELP, NOT CRITICISM!" and i agree to that. instead of closure eh find ways na lang for improvement di ba. ilang dekada na yang zoo, so sad nman kung ipapasara lang di ba.
nweiz, it's still worth the visit pa din nman, at di sila papayag na ipasara yun don't worry. ^_^
